I have missed writing so very much. I love to write just for the sake of writing and exploring words and what emotions come up by the pairing of different words. I used to write daily and it was such a joy. Somehow, I lost that. Maybe it was busy-ness or life just got in the way and I lost my inspiration. I want to get back to writing but think, “I have no idea what I want to write about!” So, thank you Daily Prompt by the Daily Post for providing me something…anything… to bring my words back to life. This is a fun, no pressure way to get back into the swing!
Fearful symmetry
Pick a letter, any letter. Now, write a story, poem, or post in which every line starts with that letter.
Respite in the early morning hours.
Relishing the quiet sounds of the home…the puppy entertaining herself, the creaks of the house that normally go unnoticed, the hum of the appliances, and the clicking of the keys on the keyboard as I type.
Realizing there is sound in the stillness outside as the birds have not yet woken, they remain resting in the trees awaiting the sun to let them know it is time to start another day.
Reflecting on the day before and the day ahead, I invite myself to slow down…I would love the morning to last longer.
Recognizing all is well with the world in this time, there is nothing to do, nothing to be, nothing to say.
Reminding myself of what I want and that my life is my choice.
Risk.
Releasing the need to achieve something and learn to just enjoy the ride, the flow, the wave.
Rumination on the word “rumination” which also means the action of a cow chewing cud. Realizing R is my favorite letter.
Reading is one of my all time loves.
Reminding myself to now enjoy this time to read.
Respectfully, Kerry

I found this on Pinterest without a copywrite and it reminds me of a painting one of my life coaching trainees painted that I so loved. Being on the swing, being in wonder, being in quiet reflection, being in peace.
Beautifully written!
Thanks Becky ❤
Nice to see you back in this space again x
