Hidden Spaces

Synchronicity…such a pretty word in and of itself. The letters in their varying shapes and sizes, the sounds they make on the tongue. It is a word with substance. To me, it is no wonder that this word embodies the Universal Spirit. Lately, I am finding a gathering momentum around synchronistic situations or rather, opportunities.…

Getting back into the swing

I have missed writing so very much. I love to write just for the sake of writing and exploring words and what emotions come up by the pairing of different words. I used to write daily and it was such a joy. Somehow, I lost that. Maybe it was busy-ness or life just got in…

Thailand: Hua Hin

I think it could be a bit redundant to show multiple pictures of lounging on chairs by a pool or walking on a beach so here are the highlights of our last portion of the vacation in Thailand at Hua Hin. Hua Hin is a great place to vacation…beautiful views, delicious food, and great shopping.…

Thailand: Hua Hin, last night with family

Yesterday was very relaxed. It was a nice change from the hustling around. We spent the day by the pool. I got a massage. Kids played.  We had one last night with Pon’s family so we went a little earlier to spend time with them and watch them cook Thai food. Ed, our driver and…

Thailand: Hua Hin

We spent most of yesterday driving to Hua Hin. We arrived about 4pm and relaxed a bit before dinner. Pon’s family including Juan, Juana, Nay, Kent, Jom and a few others rented a bungalow nearby for two nights. They prepared dinner for us and will do the same tonight. It was delicious….the best Thai food…

Thailand: Nakhon Sawan Part 2

Thailand: Ayutthaya, Lopburi & Nakhon Sawan

Yesterday was a full day that ended with a drive in the rain to Nakhon Sawan. We arrived at our hotel at 8pm. Breakfast in Bangkok before leaving…. We left Bangkok and drove to Ayutthaya. It was the capital Kingdom of Siam from 1350-1767. The Palace, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statue ruins of that kingdom…

Thailand: Bangkok Part 2

I had a lovely morning to myself and saw the sunrise over the skyline. When you start your day at 4am, it’s amazing how long a morning can be.  We all headed down to breakfast and then kids swam before our ride to The Grand Palace. Here is the van roof I forgot to show…
